Team Trauma; founded by Tommy "Trauma" Sauer in 1998; has been one of the most competitive MMA teams in the Southeastern United States for the last 9 years. Team Trauma has also seen exposure on several different continents and countries, including the United States,Russia, Japan, and Holland, as well as the Hawaiian Islands. Team Trauma standouts include such fighters as Charles "Crazy Horse" Bennett, T.J. Cook, and Mike "Boom Boom" Buchovich; who have represented Team Trauma in shows such as, Pride FC, RINGS, King of The Cage, WEFC, Combat FC, SuperBrawl, and the IFC Global Domination. Team Trauma has undergone several changes over the past year, culminating in a new partnership between Tom Sauer and business and training partner Jesse Emery, as well as a brand new state of the art training facility located just 5 miles southeast of Ocala, Fl. The new facility offers 2000 sqft.of mat space, complimented by cardio equiptment and free weights; classes are offered Monday thru Thursday, 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Weekday mornings as well as Friday thru Sundays are reserved for fight team practices and private lessons by appointments only.
